Description

High quality second hand recommended item!
A masterpiece with stunning heavy relic treatment applied throughout, like a veteran warrior!

This is a high-quality pre-owned 1960 Telecaster Heavy Relic with an alder body and slab rosewood fingerboard. Manufactured in 2022, this guitar boasts a refreshing, exquisite Sea Foam Green finish, a rare find on the market.

The Fender Custom Shop was established in 1987 to create the finest Fender guitars using carefully selected wood from Fender's inventory, utilizing traditional handcraftsmanship and advanced manufacturing techniques. The shop inherits the traditions and techniques of the long-established Fender company, and the lineup, assembled by a limited staff of custom shop staff, is truly top-notch, including one-of-a-kind models like the Master Builder Series.

Many of the tools used in the production are the same ones that were used back then. Crafted with the utmost care by staff members who are thoroughly versed in Fender guitar know-how, these instruments boast the finest quality and sound to satisfy any player, and are sure to become a reliable companion that you can enjoy for a lifetime.

This guitar is based on a 1960 Telecaster with a slab rosewood fingerboard!
The 1960-shaped alder body was carefully selected by our wood selection specialists exclusively for the custom shop, resulting in an exquisite sound and beautiful looks.

The neck material, which has been carefully selected just like the body, is plain maple with a straight grain that tends to flatten, allowing you to enjoy a rich, sticky midrange neck resonance!
The flatson maple neck is actually a different brand from SRV's No.1, but Sadowsky NYO guitars tend to have flatson maple necks!
In Japan, orders tend to be placed with quarter-sawn maple necks, so this is a recommended guitar for those looking for this type of neck grain!

The fingerboard is made of slab-laminated rosewood, with a 9.5R fingerboard radius and tall 6105 narrow/tall frets. This guitar also offers excellent playability.

The body and neck are all-lacquer, just like the vintage models. Both the body and neck feature a heavy relic finish, with irregular weather checking and extensive, severe paint peeling in places.
The back of the neck has been stripped from the 1st to 12th frets, revealing the wood's texture for a smooth playing feel. The remaining paint has been applied with a tanned clear coat finish.
The neck grip features a 60 Style Oval C-shape finish, which is often found on early 60s models. It has a slimmer shape even among Custom Shop models, and the overall grip is not too thick, making it comfortable for many players.

The hardware includes a through-the-back bridge with 3-way spiral saddles, and vintage-style Kluson machine heads.

The Custom Shop guitar's natural sound, which surpasses even the most sophisticated Fenders, is characterized by the clarity of its bolt-on construction, and the airiness and richness of the sound output from the amplifier are truly on another level. Furthermore, the relic finish provides a resonance so rich that you can fully experience the vibration of the body and neck with just one chord.
Its overwhelming natural sound is so comfortable that you can play it forever without having to output it through an amplifier, and it's a quality that can only be experienced at a custom shop where you can enjoy a satisfying playing experience.

The pickups that produce this amazing sound are all hand-wound, which gives the amplifier a richer, more acoustic feel with more harmonic overtones than regular machine-wound pickups.
This model is equipped with a Hand Wound 63 Single-Coil Tele pickup, which delivers a rich midrange sound with plenty of body resonance and a thick attack, resulting in a growling, authentic, twangy tone.

The controls are those of a Modern Telecaster, with a master volume with high pass and a master tone using a wax paper capacitor, giving it a slightly modern feel while still providing straightforward and simple wiring.

Despite its imposing appearance, this is a modern, customized, and ready-to-use model!

We have a recommended high-quality used item in stock! It was manufactured in 2022.
Because it is a heavy relic, scratches that may have been made later are not completely visible, but there is little visible wear overall, and there are no issues with current playability. We have given it a full maintenance and cleaning at our shop, so it is in recommended condition and ready to use right away.

The frets are in good condition and most of them remain. The nut is also in good condition and can be used as is. The truss rod can be adjusted normally.

The electrical system has been fully checked and there are no problems with operation.
This is a piece that stands out with its exquisite, vibrant Fiesta Red color, which is rare on the market!

It weighs approximately 3.43 kg, a balance that makes it easy to use yet produces a solid sound.
This is a piece that stands out with its exquisite, refreshing Sea Foam Green color, which is rare on the market!

Accessories include the original black Tolex hard case, key, certificate, spec sheet, bridge cover, key, and strap.
