Thanks to you, we at Ikebe Musical Instruments are celebrating our 50th anniversary, and as part of this commemorative project, we have offered TAMA Drums a special drum set.
This snare drum was produced with great pleasure, and is a wonderful piece that symbolizes the long-standing partnership between Ikebe Musical Instruments and TAMA Drums.

Introducing the "STAR Reserve Solid Curly Maple Snare Drum."

Inspired by the maple solid snare drums from the "STAR Series" and "STAR Reserve Series," which have been receiving a lot of attention in stores in recent years,
We chose a deep body size of 14 x 6.5 which is not available in the regular lineup.
At the suggestion of TAMA, we created a very luxurious shell specification using a single piece of extremely rare curly maple, including the reinforcement.
The brass tubular lugs add a touch of elegance to the tone, while the solid die-cast hoops allow for focused sound control.
And the best part is the snappy design that hits all over!
It is a great fortune that the strainer system, which was amazingly revived by TAMA Drums, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, will be used to commemorate Ikebe Musical Instruments' 50th anniversary this year!
This is a versatile snare drum that is suitable for all genres, and is effective not only for roots music such as jazz, blues, and rock, but also for modern approaches such as black music, city pop, and electronic music.
