Description
[The second Peter Erskine signature snare drum is now available!]
This is the second signature snare drum from Peter Erskine, one of the greatest jazz legends.
The greatest feature of this snare drum is its shell, a product of Peter's personal attention. The hybrid shell combines spruce and maple, rich in midrange and high frequencies, and Peter himself came up with a unique design: a sound focus ring on the striking surface only, resulting in a piccolo-like crispness and rich sound with a clear sound image. The drum also features the same bearing edge as the flagship STAR Drums, a drummer he personally loves, ensuring a beautiful sound across a wide range of dynamics, from a whisper to a fortissimo open rim shot.
This snare drum is worthy of Peter Erskine, who expresses a wide range of sounds in accordance with the music, and will continue to create new sounds in line with your playing.
