Description
Description
This time we have in stock the "LR10," an artist model that Ibanez is known for, a signature model of jazz guitar master Lee Ritenour.
【body】
The overall weight is approximately 3.5 kg. This antique violin has a strong reddish color, which stands out beautifully against the beautiful flamed maple body. There are signs of wear, such as scratches and dents throughout the instrument, and some dullness on the metal parts. The binding has deteriorated over time, and the paint has become rough and has significant areas of peeling. The control knobs have been replaced.
【neck】
The three-piece mahogany/maple/mahogany neck also has large areas of paint peeling, just like the body. As befits an artist model, the fingerboard is made of excellent rosewood. The tuners are original Velvettune and function well with little variation. While the frets and nut show some wear, there's no excessive buzzing or clogging, and playability is excellent. The nut width is approximately 44.0mm. The solid neck width and thin neck shape are typical Ibanez profiles.
[Electrical system]
The controls are simple: 2 volume, 2 tone, and a 3-way pickup selector switch. The pots are currently wrapped in aluminum seals, presumably for noise prevention. The pickups are listed as LP Specials in the catalog, but they are actually two Super 58s. The LR Special and Super 58s share the same baseplate, but it's unclear whether they were replaced. Rather than a glossy jazz guitar, the guitar features a relatively hard, crisp, and articulate tone.
