Description

This is a used chrome-plated early 83 TALBO.
Since the official model number was unknown, it is listed as an A-100 from 1983.
One theory is that it was an export model of the AX-100 CR.
As is the fate of a two-point neck, it will tilt to the left or right over time, but this has been adjusted.
The round yellow area about 15mm in size on the left side between the PUs shows traces of foamed urethane being injected into the space between the bodies, which are welded together like a lunch box.
When it was brought in, the frets had worn beyond their limit, the pickguard was made of acrylic resin with a strange sticker on it, and the bridge saddles were badly damaged by rust.
The pickguard has been remade from clear plastic, the frets have been replaced with Jescar #47104, and the nut has been replaced with the same bone nut as the original.
The back panel has been reproduced in clear, just like the pickguard.
The chrome plating is visible from every angle.
The PU is equipped with Lace Alumibacker!
The aluminum backer, which matches the crisp sound of the body, produces a clear sound whether clean or distorted.
The chrome plating on the body has partially peeled off.
Chrome-plated reproduction models with one-piece bodies have been produced twice, but I was not aware that this was the first one to be produced.
The neck and pegs are original from that time.
There is a screw with traces of an ET locking part attached to the nut.
The bridge was heavily oxidized, so it was re-chrome plated.
The saddle is a new GOTOH product!
The frets, saddle, and string resting parts of the nut are brand new.
This chrome-plated TALBO from a 1983 production aircraft is a historic masterpiece.
The plating has scratches and peeling, showing signs of past battles.
