[2024 Turkey Factory Tour Selected Items]
Drum Station staff traveled to Istanbul, Turkey to personally select and purchase cymbals.
We have selected our staff's top picks from among the many cymbals available, so please give them a try.
[Tony Williams Tribute Cymbal]
This cymbal is a remake based on a favorite cymbal of jazz drummer master Tony Williams.
Tony Williams joined the Miles Davis Quintet at the tender age of 17, and was praised as a genius drummer for his innovative playing style that went beyond the conventional notions of jazz drumming.
His influence continues to be felt by modern drummers.
With the help of his beloved wife, Colleen Williams, Tony borrowed a cymbal that had been passed down to him by Max Roach, the great jazz drummer and Tony's mentor (who played some great performances on numerous recordings with the Miles Davis Quintet in the 1960s).
When creating the Tribute cymbals, we thoroughly researched and reproduced every detail of the design, taper, weight, and size in order to recreate the original sound.
In addition, new tracks "22 JAZZ ROCK RIDE," "16 CRASH," and "15 HI-HATS" have been added.

This instrument has an excellent sound, with a legato sound that is sensitive to response and overtones, a crisp and clear cup sound, and good crash response.
