◎Excellent operability, easy to carry and install.
In recent years, the number of live performances featuring hybrid acoustic and electronic drum sets has rapidly increased. By connecting acoustic drum triggers and pads to the TM-2, you can expand your musical expression by layering sounds on top of the acoustic drums, adding percussion sounds, and playing backing songs. With a simple button layout and highly visible LCD screen, this sound module offers easy operation, even for drummers new to electronic instruments. A clamp-mounting plate is included for easy setup. The TM-2 is also battery-powered, making it ideal for live venues where power is scarce or for creating sounds using only the TM-2 itself. The front panel features a gold color similar to the cymbals to match your acoustic drum set. This new concept sound module is perfect for those who want to incorporate electronic drums into their drum set.

◎More than 100 built-in sound sources for hybrid drum kits.
The TM-2 offers over 100 built-in sounds for creating hybrid drum kits that combine acoustic and electronic drums. Layer classic sounds like tambourine, cowbell, and claps, as well as electronic sounds, over the acoustic drums themselves. Or add hard-to-find large percussion sounds to expand your drum kit. Layering attack sounds also enhances fast double bass phrases, making them clearer, more audible, and more powerful.

◎You can add your own sounds.
In addition to the built-in sounds, the TM-2 also lets you add original sounds (WAV format) stored on an SD memory card. In addition to percussion sounds, you can also play audio phrases and sound effects by hitting pads or trigger-equipped drums. It also comes with built-in multi-effects, allowing for ample sound creation. This greatly expands the range of expression during live performances, allowing you to recreate songs using a wide variety of sounds or create stage effects.

◎You can choose from a wide range of triggers and pads.
The TM-2 lets you configure and play up to four sounds, and you can freely combine pads and triggers from Roland's extensive lineup to suit your playing style.
Acoustic drum triggers: RT series Pads: PD series, PDX series, BT-1
Kick: KD series Cymbal: CY series

◎MIDI terminal allows for expanded connection to external sound sources.
The TM-2 is equipped with MIDI IN/MIDI OUT terminals. Signals from connected triggers and pads can be output as MIDI information, making it useful for playing external sound modules. It can also be used as an expansion module by connecting it to a sound module such as the TD-30 and playing the TM-2's sounds.
