Description

50-input/50-output Thunderbolt 3 audio interface

The Horizon 32 is a 50-input/50-output Thunderbolt™ 3 audio interface/converter featuring 32 channels of line input/output via eight DB25 connectors and 32-bit conversion with a dynamic range of 133dB.
Featuring a dedicated mix bus signal path and a round-trip latency of 0.99ms, this 1U unit allows you to connect large consoles or entire large effects racks to your DAW. It's designed for studios and production facilities handling multiple channels.
*Measured at 192kHz/Buffer Size: 64 samples

◆Main Features

Thunderbolt 3 connection: 50 inputs/50 outputs; Main line input/output: 32 inputs/32 outputs, DB25 terminals x 8
Dedicated stereo mix bus input for master recording; dedicated stereo monitor output for independent reference monitoring.
32-bit/192kHz conversion, dynamic range 133dB
Round-trip latency: 0.99ms (192kHz, 64 samples)

◆Reasons for choosing HORIZON 32

The Horizon 32 connects an entire console or large outboard rack to your DAW in a 1U chassis. With 32 channels of line input/output via eight DB25 connectors and 32-bit conversion with a 133dB dynamic range, it captures every channel signal without unwanted coloration. Furthermore, a dedicated mix bus signal path, separate from the DB25 I/O, provides an independent path for master recording.

With a round-trip latency of 0.99ms, it delivers virtually imperceptible responsiveness even when monitoring through native plugins. The dedicated software, Horizon Control, allows you to manage system-wide routing, monitoring, and metering from a single panel. As the session size expands, you can daisy-chain up to four units and expand to a maximum of 200 inputs/200 outputs with a single driver without changing your workflow.

◆From a DSP-centric production environment to a more flexible native environment

Horizon 32 achieves a round-trip latency of 0.99ms when set to 192kHz/64 samples.

Recording vocals with compression and EQ applied. Playing with a sound processed through a guitar amp simulator. Layering software instruments and live performances with the same sense of timing. Even in these situations, it provides a response that minimizes the performer's awareness of delay.

This system allows you to build a recording system centered around your preferred DAW and native plugins, without being tied to a specific DAW and DSP environment. It enables you to create a low-latency recording environment without limiting your production tool choices.

◆Scalable system configuration with up to 4 units

The Horizon series allows you to daisy-chain up to four units on a single driver.
The entire system supports a maximum of 200x200 I/O. *When using 4 Horizon32 units.

From small private studios to production environments with multiple booths, the system can be assembled according to the number of inputs and outputs required.
