This Firebird V 2016 T, featuring Steinberger gearless tuners while retaining its attractive design, is a recommended used item that has just arrived! Among Gibson's solid-body guitars, the Firebird V has a unique structural characteristic!
Its unconventional style features a 9-ply through-neck construction, rather than the set-neck construction that Gibson is known for. Compared to Les Pauls and other models, its larger body style inevitably results in a different sense of balance, but it is a model that exudes an overwhelming presence on stage.

Designed by car designer Raymond Dietrich, the original 1963 Firebird featured a groundbreaking design that overturned previous concepts in guitar body and headstock design. It exuded an overwhelming presence on stage, and guitarists such as Eric Clapton, Johnny Winter, and Phil Manzanera have created numerous songs inspired by the tone and look of the original Firebird.

The Firebird V 2016 retains the original's captivating design while updating playability with features such as Steinberger gearless tuners! While the Firebird is strongly associated with the banjo-style tuning pegs protruding from the back of the headstock, it has been upgraded to Steinberger gearless tuners to improve tuning accuracy, and this also contributes to a lighter headstock! This model was previously prone to headstock dive due to its unique shape, but the change in tuning pegs seems to have improved the balance somewhat.

Gibson's original mini-humbucking pickups, while smaller in appearance than P90 single-coil pickups, employ a humbucker structure with a chrome cover, resulting in a very unique sound that is sticky and clings to the listener.
With its trebly sound character compared to standard humbucking pickups, this model exudes a unique presence unlike any other!

We've just received a recommended used item! It's a 2016 model.
There are some minor scratches overall, small dents in the original paint, scuffs on the paint on the back of the body, and some tarnishing on the parts, but none of these affect playability or cause any problems. It is in fairly good condition. We have performed a full maintenance and cleaning at our shop, so it is ready to use immediately.

The frets have been leveled and are ready to use. Approximately 85% of the fret life remains.
The nuts are in good working order and function normally. The truss rods also function correctly for normal adjustments.

The electrical system has also been fully checked, so there are no problems with its operation.

The weight is approximately 3.45 kg. It offers a user-friendly yet solid balance.
