The AZ2203N is based on the traditional SSS pickup configuration and 5-way switch, and incorporates a blender function that allows for a wide variety of sounds by blending the sound of the front or rear pickup.
It features a blender function that allows you to adjust the mix of the front or rear pickups by combining the amount you turn the tone knob on the jack and the position of the 5-way pickup selector.
It can be easily operated even during a performance, expanding the range of sound creation possibilities.

① When the pickup selector is set to select only the front pickup:
When the tone knob is set to 10, this is the sound of the front pickup alone.
As you turn the knob in the down direction, the sound of the rear pickup will gradually blend in.

② When the pickup selector is in the position of the half-tone setting for the front and middle pickups:
When the tone knob is set to 10, it produces a half-tone sound using the front and middle pickups.
As you turn the knob in the down direction, the sound of the rear pickup will gradually blend in.

③ When the pickup selector is set to select only the middle pickup:
The blender function does not work.

④ When the pickup selector is in the position where the half-tone of the rear and middle pickups is selected:
When the tone knob is set to 10, it produces a half-tone sound using the rear and middle pickups.
As you turn the knob in the direction of turning it down, the sound of the front pickup will gradually blend in.

⑤ When the pickup selector is set to select only the rear pickup:
When the tone knob is set to 10, this is the sound of the rear pickup alone.
As you turn the knob in the direction of turning it down, the sound of the front pickup will gradually blend in.
