A beautiful used Zemaitis handmade bass overdrive "ZMF2023BD" has arrived!

The ZMF2023BD is a compact effects pedal that incorporates the image of Zemaitis' signature metal front bass and features a luxuriously engraved aluminum alloy plate on the top with a curved shape. The matte black case is made of sturdy aluminum alloy and is manufactured by Hammond, the same company that has also used it in many famous effects pedals. The control knobs are metal hat knobs used on Zemaitis pedals, giving the pedal a design that evokes the image of a metal front bass.

The ZMF2023BD is inspired by the natural drive sound of the 1970s' large tube amps familiar in traditional rock music. Its versatile design offers a wide range of bass overdrive sounds, from natural distortion to modern, intense distortion. No matter how much distortion you apply, the bass remains robust and powerful. It was also developed in collaboration with the designers of DNA ANALOGIC, a highly acclaimed handmade effects pedal brand from the 1990s. The tone control features a SW-TONE SYSTEM, which allows you to bypass the tone by turning the control all the way down. Bypassing the tone produces an edgy sound, perfect for slap sounds or modern, radical bass drive. No matter how you use it, it delivers an incredibly thick, clear sound. Furthermore, the parts are carefully assembled, wired, and casing are all handcrafted in Japan. We aim to create a durable product that will last you a lifetime, designed to minimize sound degradation while still delivering full effect.

●The SW-TONE SYSTEM (Switch Tone System) is a system that solves the problem that conventional tone circuits cannot completely block the signal to the tone variable resistor even when the control is in the full position, resulting in a slight masking of the high frequencies.
This system solves this problem by using a switch to completely cut off the signal to the tone variable resistor, ensuring clear sound quality.

Aluminum Die-Cast Body: The Hammond aluminum case boasts a long history of use in many effects pedals around the world, resulting in high electrical conductivity and superior sound quality. In addition to the high hardness of the aluminum itself, the die-cast body (one-piece construction) minimizes damage to the circuit board, the heart of the effect, even in the event of a drop or other impact. Furthermore, the battery replacement cover and minimal external protrusions prevent accidental breakage, further enhancing the body's strength.

●Metal plate: The aluminum alloy engraved plate on top, which is a major feature of the Zemaitis ZMF2023BD's appearance, is an icon that carries on the tradition of Zemaitis guitars, and creates a sense of luxury and presence that is different from simple printing or painting.

●Control knobs: Instead of using plastic knobs, which are prone to deterioration and breakage over time, we have used high-quality, heavy-duty metal knobs.
Since this is a compact effect pedal that is often placed at your feet, the chances of damage if you accidentally step on the control knob are significantly reduced compared to plastic knobs. The metal knobs also serve as a ground. The input and output jacks are made by Switchcraft, a highly reliable manufacturer.

●Battery space: Opening the back cover, which is secured to the back of the body with four screws, reveals the battery space, which is connected to a battery snap and serves as a place to store the battery. By not having a dedicated battery cover, damage is minimized.
