Description
◆What is the Akamatsu Guitar Project?
Divider, which has used a variety of woods for guitars, is rediscovering the appeal of domestic timber and is working on this project, focusing on utilizing red pine that has been damaged by insects in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture. The holes caused by insects and large exposed knots are seen as unique features, and are sublimated into an unprecedented guitar design.
This special Akamatsu x ROSETTEE model is a guitar that combines Japanese wood, natural resources, and a unique sound. At the Deviser One Day Guitar Show, Akamatsu was used as the tonewood for the new model ROSETTEE, which was released last year.
Akamatsu (Japanese red pine) is known for its softness and lightness. Combined with its hollow body, it's easy to handle and produces a clear, manageable sound that's similar but not identical to that of common alder or ash. Experience the unique sound that only Akamatsu (Japanese red pine), born and bred in Japan's climate, can produce. The color, named "ATQ-MRN (Antique Maroon)," evokes a muted, Japanese look.
◆MIRAGE pickup developed specifically for this model
To make the ROSETTEE easier to use and to realize greater tonal freedom, a new pickup has been installed. This pickup, named "MIRAGE," maximizes the characteristics of the hollow body while achieving an exquisite balance that prevents feedback, enabling a beautiful, clean sound.
25-inch scale for perfect tension. To create the charm and unique sound of a hollow body, we've adopted a 25-inch scale, which is midway between a long scale (25 1/2 inches) and a medium scale (24 3/4 inches). The slightly looser tension than you'd expect from the body shape and bolt-on construction gives it a looser feel, making it a great choice for players who find the tight tension of long-scale guitars difficult to use, especially when choking.
◆Luminray Side Dot, a luminous material that is extremely useful on-site
The side dots are made of Luminray, a luminous material that is extremely popular among guitarists who perform live. Even if the lights are turned off during a live performance, you can focus on your performance without losing your position.
◆Hand-drawn head logo
The original Rosetta Vessel headstock features a hand-drawn logo that has been used since the 2000s. The wide rod adjustment hole makes rod adjustment easier. The color lines match the body color for a retro feel.
