Description
Americans are definitely the craziest!
Vol. 60 of this magazine, released in June 2023, featured only Japanese-made effects pedals under the title "Made in Japan."
In response to this, many people may have wondered, "What is the situation with pedals that are not made in Japan?" So in this issue, we will take a deep look at only American-made effects pedals.
From vintage 1960s guitars to the latest digital instruments, we analyze unique models that could only have been born in America, a country with a rich musical culture. Like Vol. 60, this issue is an expanded edition with more color pages. We've succeeded in making almost the entire feature in color.
In addition, Feature 2 will feature Z.Vex, a boutique pedal brand that has been representative of the US since the 2000s, and the musician article will feature Michael Landau, one of America's top session guitarists.
This is an ambitious and unique book that delves into American culture, which is at the forefront of global popular music, through the lens of effects pedals.
