Description

The Norbert Ivanyi Signature Modern has arrived, featuring a chic look and simple yet practical specifications.
This unique unit features controls that reflect the artist's unique sensibilities, and features a simple design with a 3-way PU selector switch, volume, and blower switch with a mini button. The blower switch can be connected with one touch to the volume set by a mini pot located in the back cavity. It can constantly change to a preset value (of course, when the blower switch is on, the volume on the front is ineffective), so as long as you're well prepared, there's no need to worry about control errors during a performance. The original volume knob is push/push, and the humbucker is coil-split in all three positions.
At first glance, it may seem strange that there is no tone control, but for someone who is adept at playing both acoustic and electric guitars fingerstyle, his own fingers are the tone.
This signature model showcases the true essence of Suhr Guitars, delivering fast, mechanically-driven phrases with a clear, light touch. Get your hands on this professional instrument, chosen by the next generation of artists!

James Norbert Ivanyi is a forward-thinking and highly original guitarist from Australia who began crafting his signature sound after earning a degree from the Australian College of Music.

James has been using Suhr guitars for the past 11 years and has been creating and performing incredible music that transcends genre boundaries, releasing numerous solo albums that explore uncharted sonic and technical terrain while also expanding his range of sounds and genres.

The Blower switch, co-developed by Suhr and James, uses a mini-pot in the control cavity to allow you to preset the guitar volume when the switch is engaged.

"This guitar is based on the elegant and simple specifications of my main black Suhr Modern, and combines it with the design of vintage synthesizers with wood on the sides, which I love, to create a trinity of aesthetic details. The dark Roasted Maple natural binding, Aged Clay inlays, and the Suhr logo all match together to create a luxurious vintage look that I've always been visually inspired by.

"We focused on minimalism when it came to performance, and carefully considered how to maximize the one-knob, three-way blade, and gain pad. These controls combine to give you an immense amount of tone and gain control with precision and ease. - James Norbert Ivanyi"
