Description
kusakusa88's original Brazilian Seed is manufactured using a method called hermetic sealing (airtight structure) that was used in the 1960s.
Hermetic seal (airtight structure) is another name for the MIL specification, and is the name of an oil capacitor manufacturing method that boasts high reliability for military and aerospace industries.
These capacitors consist of a tin-plated brass tube with glass at both ends sealing the internal dielectric, electrodes, and insulating oil.
Sprague's Vitamin-Q, CDE, GOODALL (later TRW), SANGAMO, AEROVOX, and West Cap, which are synonymous with oil capacitors, produced and supplied capacitors for military use using this method.
kusakusa88's original Brazilian Seed realistically reproduces the hermetic seal (completely sealed) structure, and is a capacitor manufactured at an OEM factory in Brazil that inherits the same production equipment, aiming for a thick, smooth sound quality in the mid-low range that is clear and crisp, despite being a vintage oil capacitor unique to the genre.
Using aluminum for the electrodes and craft paper for the dielectric, this oil capacitor delivers the natural sound quality that is unique to oil capacitors and gentle on the human ear.
It reproduces natural and vivid sound quality, a realistic and three-dimensional sound field, and has the full thickness of the mid-low range common to oil capacitors. Also, because it uses materials close to natural materials, the naturalness of the tone and the mysterious comfort are also major attractions.
