Description

It delivers pure guitar sound directly, with high sound quality, noise resistance, and flexibility, making it ideal for live performances as well as audio interfaces/MTRs!

The E205 model '59ers from the Platinum Link series is a cable developed with the purpose of focusing on faithfully transmitting the subtle, mellow sound nuances of electric guitars and basses, as well as the sound's onset when picking.
The conductor uses the unique core wire configuration NVW1 OFC.
The sound, which thoroughly covers the mid-high range, brings out the harmonics that are considered to be ``delicious'' when playing rough cutting or chords in a more balanced way, and is designed to make it easier to produce the unique loud feeling that is required when driving the speaker with just a guitar amp.
What's more, even when the volume of the guitar itself is turned down, the sound nuances are not easily lost.
In addition, to make it easier to handle during live performances, the unit maintains the same quality as before, such as resistance to electromagnetic noise, but now offers even more flexibility.
In addition, electromagnetic noise is blocked out by using an ultra-dense braided shield and carbon-containing conductive vinyl.
It protects the sound from the floor-knocking noise that occurs when using the product, high-frequency noise from televisions and radios, and noise generated by motors, etc.
The plugs used are nickel-plated Providence NP-14 Long/Mid and NP-14L Mid (91° L-type plugs), which best match the sound desired for the E205 cable.

[NP-14L Mid]
- Nickel-plated, L-type plug (mid-type)
The L-type plug features Providence's unique 91° angle (patented utility model) that allows for smooth insertion and removal, reducing strain on the jacks of guitars and other equipment. It's also extremely easy to use with angled jacks, such as those commonly found on wah pedals.

[Providence cable has been renewed]
The sound of each model remains the same, but with even greater clarity.

In 2023, Providence cables were renewed (excluding some models).
For the renewal, we re-examined the raw materials used and the manufacturing process, which can be described as a series of craftsmanship, and revised some of them.
All models, which are compatible with a variety of musical styles, deliver a clear sound that is even more articulate than previous models and won't get lost in an ensemble.
This shielded cable is in line with Providence's theme of "responding to the sound demanded by each era" and meets the needs of today's players, whose musical environment is changing rapidly.

[NP-14 Long/Mid]
- Nickel-plated, straight plug (long type)
The long plug cap is designed to make it easy to insert and remove, even with a Stratocaster's boat-shaped jack. The plug shaft is φ6.3mm, which fits perfectly into the inch-sized jacks used on most guitars. This makes it difficult to come loose, and also increases the number of contact points between the plug and jack, which has a positive effect on sound quality.

- Nickel-plated, straight plug (mid-type)
The mid-type plug cap is designed to easily connect to a guitar's side jack, amplifier, or effects pedal. The plug shaft is φ6.3mm, which fits perfectly into the inch-sized jacks used on most guitars. This has the advantage of making it less likely to come loose, and also provides more contact between the plug and jack, which has a positive effect on sound quality.
