This is a custom model ordered by our staff at the Martin Factory in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
Orchestra body, Style 42 cutaway custom.
The production theme was, "If there was a cutaway model of the 30s vintage OM-42..."

The OM body has excellent sound balance and is easy to handle, and the cutaway has been added to further enhance its high playability.
The top is made of VTS Swiss spruce, which is characterized by its hard overtones and well-balanced fundamental tone, and produces a clear, crisp sound with a beautiful clarity that is hard to believe is from a brand new instrument.

For the sides and back, we chose Honduran rosewood, which is highly regarded as a tonewood.
This is a material that is usually in short supply, so we were unable to choose it locally this time, but we did have a huge, treasured log, so we used wood cut from there.

The potential of this completed device is outstanding!
It's a guitar with a great sound that matches the glamorous looks of the 40s.

The long scale with a solid sense of tension produces a balanced, powerful sound and high playability.
We are confident that this product will be able to handle a variety of situations, from recording to live performances.

The VTS top and natural gloss finish give it a naturally aged look, and the beautiful purfling and rosette match beautifully.
The headstock is accented with a shining alternative torch inlay, creating a truly exceptional piece.

This guitar was created by making the most of materials carefully selected by our store staff together with Martin staff, and we are absolutely confident in both its looks and sound.

Take this opportunity to purchase a carefully selected, exquisite piece.
