Description
Description
Featuring the most compact form factor in Strymon history, Cloudburst delivers detailed reverb tones that are hard to imagine from its small appearance.
The included Ensemble switch allows you to add another dimension of depth to ambient reverbs or give guitar sounds a string section-like swell.
Other controls include decay, pre-delay, tone, mix, and modulation, allowing you to beautifully create a variety of spaces, from closet space to the infinite universe.
It also packs in premium specifications such as a discrete JFET analog front end, excellent S/N performance of 116dB, a powerful ARM superscalar processor, stereo input/output, and full MIDI control functionality.
While simple to use, Cloudburst also inherits the best reverb sound that Strymon has ever produced, making it an instant pedal that will help you maximize your creativity.
[Beautifully resonating multi-layered string ensemble]
The Cloudburst's Ensemble switch will take you to a completely new ambient world that goes beyond the imagination of existing reverb pedals.
Adding Ensemble can add another dimension of harmonic depth to an ambient reverb, or the lush, generated growl of a string section to your guitar. Ensemble's effect is completely organic and natural, adding beautiful, musical layers to your overall guitar signal, unlocking your creativity.
[From closet space to infinite space]
Cloudburst contains several different reverbs in one unit.
The Decay knob creates a wide variety of reverb effects, from the natural sound of a small room or closet to the majestic swell of infinite space. Simply turn the Decay knob to create studio-quality room reverbs of any size.
[Small but with full specifications, no compromises]
The Cloudburst packs all the premium components, sound quality, and features that Strymon reverb enthusiasts desire into a new, compact form factor. It features a discrete JFET analog front end, 116dB signal-to-noise performance, a powerful ARM Superscalar processor, stereo inputs and outputs, and full MIDI control. Simple and easy to use, it delivers performance that rivals existing high-end models, while providing everything beginners and advanced players need.
[Other controls]
In addition to the aforementioned Ensemble and Decay, there are a variety of controls available, such as Pre-Delay, which adds a time delay between the dry and reverb signals, Tone, which controls the high frequencies within the reverb, and Modulation, which modulates the time of each delay line that creates reflections within the reverb tank.
