The 908 was born in collaboration with VATER. We created a stick that is unique, yet versatile and adaptable to any drummer's playing style. By Jay Weinberg

Jay Weinberg's 908
Previous models I've used, such as the 5B, Power 5B, Punisher and Universal, have felt comfortable in the palm of my hand, between my thumb and index finger, but after 16+ years of playing this kind of music, I've always wanted something more nimble and responsive.
The 908 has its roots in those sticks, but it speaks a similar language, just a little differently. It has a more tactile feel, a quicker response, and so on. Throughout my experience, I fell in love with the VATER barrel tips. They bring out a sharp, crisp sound from the ride cymbal, and I get the same kind of sound I want from my drum set. I often visualize drumming like hammering nails, and these sticks really bring that to life in my hands.
"908" is me. It's my birthday and the area code where I'm from. These sticks allow me to perfectly recreate the performance I have in my head on the drums.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
