Description

The Masters series uses B20 wood to create a traditional sound.

<Masters>
For centuries, the legendary CuSn20 bronze has been produced through ancient Turkish alchemy and used to craft cymbals. Paiste's quest for sound has led to the discovery of the musical power of the primitive sounds that survived in the classical environment. Combining the mutual experience and capabilities of Swiss-based Paiste and Turkish cymbal makers, the entire process, from alloying to the finished cymbal, is entirely handcrafted. This is the Masters Series, an answer that meets the diverse demands of percussionists while providing the pure sound quality of a cymbal.

<Extra Thin>
Inspired by legendary studio drummer Jim Keltner, the Masters Extra Thin cymbal was developed by the Paiste Sound Development Team to create a warm, soft crash sound that blends beautifully into musical situations that value a soft ambiance. Furthermore, its quick decay also allows it to be played as a low-volume, highly sensitive ride cymbal.
The Masters Extra Thin model offers a softer feel than any previous model, and with such sensitive response and sound quality, it is a cymbal that allows for extremely high-level expression, whether playing barehanded or with mallets.
