The long-awaited CLEAR version of ACTIVE GRIP, a stick that activates with the heat of your hands, is now available! It's also compatible with SELECT BALANCE, a stick that lets you choose your preferred center of gravity!

The long-awaited clear finish model of ActiveGrip sticks, which activate with the heat of your hands, is now available! The functionality of ActiveGrip remains the same, but the pigment has been changed. Its natural look makes it a great choice for drummers accustomed to standard models who have been hesitant to use ActiveGrip due to its appearance.

The heat-activated grip effectively combats slippage caused by sweat, eliminating the need for unnecessary force to prevent slippage and supporting a relaxed palm for improved stick control. The specially coated active grip utilizes the latest technology from D'ADDARIO, which even included a chemist on its production team. This product is a world apart from conventional colored sticks and rubber coatings, and will not transfer color to drums or cymbals.

Rebound balance: The center of gravity is closer to the grip, and the weight at the tip is lighter for a lighter sound.
The 5B model offers the perfect size and feel for hard-hitting drummers who find the 5A too thin and the 2B too thick. It's ideal for a wide range of musical styles, especially pop, rock, and punk. The wide sweet spot of the acone tip allows for delicate, musical stickwork.
