Top-of-the-line handheld microphone!
The C636 significantly reduces the effects of noise across all frequency bands, ensuring clear sound quality even on demanding stages. Two shock mounts, made of special rubber with high vibration absorption properties, are located above and below the body and capsule joint. They efficiently absorb impacts from various directions and intensities, significantly reducing low-frequency noise caused by handling noise and other vibrations. The capsule is also protected by three layers: a grille, a high-density sponge filter, and a magnetically detachable metal filter. Combining filters made of different materials minimizes the effects of mid- and high-frequency noise, including pop noise. An 80Hz low-cut filter is also included to reduce low-frequency noise caused by air conditioning and vibrations.
The C636 delivers high-quality sound. It inherits the clear, vibrant sound of AKG's flagship handheld microphone, the C535 EB, which has been highly acclaimed on professional stages for many years since its release. Furthermore, the capsule's heavy base suppresses unwanted diaphragm resonance, allowing for faithful capture of the original sound. Its uniform cardioid polar pattern across the entire frequency range and its design, which controls unwanted reverberations inside the microphone, also suppress feedback. This eliminates the need for a separate EQ, ensuring clear sound.
The C636 boasts an extremely sturdy zinc alloy body and wire mesh grille for superior durability. The capsule is also 24-karat gold-plated to protect the microphone from rust and corrosion. It also comes with a two-year warranty for extended use and peace of mind.
