Evans / Hydraulic Red

The Hydraulic Series has been a hit since its release. To celebrate Evans' 60th anniversary, we're reissuing its Hydraulic Red colorway! While retaining the look and sound of the original, the new Hydraulic Red features a soft, supple touch and LEVEL360 technology, a new feature of Evans heads.

The Hydraulic Series is an Evans-exclusive model that features a colored oil film sandwiched between two 7mil plies of film.
These heads offer extremely high durability and the fat, deep, and short sustain that characterizes the sound of 1970s rock beats. Their dead sound also provides excellent separation of sounds, making drum tones clearer and ideal for studio recording, where no unnecessary overtones are required.
Even with high-pitch tuning, the sound line does not become thin, and the high frequencies do not become too pronounced.This drum head has a thick, powerful volume and impeccable dynamics, as if the drum set had been upgraded by one size.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
