Description
Description
Alice in Chains was a pioneer of the grunge boom, expressing a profound, oppressive and melancholic worldview.
This product was developed with the concept of expressing the unique dark, sticky sound produced by a wah.
As one of the most influential guitarists to emerge from the Seattle rock scene, it's no secret that Jerry Cantrell's legendary riffs and powerful tone have been the driving force behind Alice in Chains since the late '80s.
The somber yet beautiful melodies played with the wah in the band's signature songs, now modern classics like "Man in the Box" and "The Rooster," remain etched in the minds of a generation of guitarists. Jerry preferred a wider, darker wah sound, so Dunlop went to great lengths to capture that moody sound in his signature model.
The result is a special wah with a tight, punchy custom sound when heeled down, and the ability to control the frequency when toed down with a knob on the side of the unit.
