A complete reproduction of the original vintage VOX wah pedal by the original brand.
Introduced in 1967 by the VOX brand, the wah-wah pedal was developed to replicate Clyde McCoy's trumpet muting technique, but it quickly proved effective in enhancing the expressiveness of the guitar. It's the pedal that artists like Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton used to create their iconic performances and songs. Since then, from the 70s and 80s to the present day, it's rare to find a guitarist who doesn't own at least one wah pedal.

The original units that still exist are now called vintage units, and are highly sought after not only for their rarity but also for their unique tone characteristic of that era.
However, these vintage pieces of equipment are expensive, and the reliability of their parts is low by current standards, making them impractical for stage use. In other words, they are financially unaffordable, and obtaining replacement parts is extremely difficult, making them impractical in many ways.
This time, VOX focused on thoroughly researching the original wah pedal and unraveling its secrets, achieving their goal of providing those seeking the legendary tone with a "brand new" McCoy Wah and V846 that have the exact same tonal characteristics as the ideal, most ideal units.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
