Brass instruments like the trumpet are difficult to adjust the volume of, unlike electronic instruments, so there are limited environments where you can practice at full volume at home.

-How to use-

1. Please have your trumpet and the "Home Mute" product ready.

2. Unscrew the cover of the "Home Mute" unit.
The lid is divided into two parts and joined by magnets, making it easy to attach and detach from the trumpet.

3. Attach the removed lid to the bell of the trumpet.
*When attaching, please make sure that the lid parts are held together by magnets.
Connect the attached lid to the main body of the "Home Mute" unit.

4. Once the lid and main body of the "Home Mute" are connected, the process is complete.
*Please be careful not to overtighten the connection, as this may cause the screws to break.

◎ Regarding compatible instruments: This instrument is compatible with trumpets with a bell diameter of 94-129mm.
・Can also be used with piccolo trumpets with a minimum bell diameter of 94mm.
When attaching it, please be careful to ensure the bell does not shift from the center.
- Even if the bell diameter is within the compatible range, this product cannot be used on instruments where the tuning slides or other parts interfere with the instrument.
- Due to variations in instrument shape and individual differences, it may not be possible to attach the product even if it is within the compatible size range.


◎ Regarding the plating area: Decorative chrome plating is applied only to the outer surface of the Home Mute cylinder.
Due to the manufacturing process, plating adheres to the inside of the cylinder, but since the inside is not a decorative area, the plating is not uniform, and there are some areas that are not plated.
Furthermore, the split lid part that opens and closes is not plated.
These are product specifications and do not affect Home Mute's performance.


◎ Precautions for handling plated products: This product has a decorative chrome plating on its surface.
To maintain its beautiful appearance for a long time, please note the following:
If fingerprints, sweat, or sebum get on the product, gently wipe it dry with the included cloth.
Do not use instrument polish, metal polish, abrasives, etc.
Do not use chlorine-based chemicals, acidic or alkaline detergents, alcohol, paint thinner, or other chemicals or solvents.
Do not rub vigorously with a hard cloth or brush, or allow sharp objects to come into contact with it.
Do not leave the product with moisture or sweat on it for extended periods of time.
Avoid using or storing the product in direct sunlight, high temperatures, high humidity, or in places that become hot, such as inside a car.
Avoid using or storing the product in extremely low-temperature environments.
Avoid using or storing the product in locations where it is repeatedly exposed to high and low temperatures.
Please be careful as contact with hard objects or metal products may cause scratches.
The color and gloss may change depending on the usage environment and over time.


◎ Precautions for use: This product uses powerful neodymium magnets.
Keep away from medical devices that are affected by magnetism, such as pacemakers.
If you are using a medical device, please consult your doctor before using this product.
Keep away from magnetic cards and other items that are affected by magnetism.
Electronic devices such as mobile phones, watches, and speakers may be affected by magnetism.
Please use and store the product at a sufficient distance from other items.
・Please use and store this product out of the reach of small children.
Do not wash the magnetic part with water or clean it with chemicals or solvents.
Dropping or strong impacts may cause damage, such as breakage, magnet detachment, or damage to the plated surface.
Please check that there is no damage or abnormality in any part before use.
If you experience any abnormalities, discontinue use.


*Because strong neodymium magnets are used, the adhesive of the magnets may come off.
