Description

The Stratocaster is Fender's signature model, beloved by guitarists around the world since its release in 1954. When it comes to electric guitars, this is the shape that comes to mind for many people.

The piece we have in stock this time is one that was shipped around 1981 and has been refinished in a green metallic color.

【body】
The overall weight is approximately 3.9 kg. The body is made of ash. A new specification at the time was the use of conductive paint inside the cavity. It has been beautifully refinished from its original reddish color to a metallic green. The plastic parts and screws are in the International Color Style, giving it a beautiful look. While there are signs of wear and tear, including dents and wear with paint chipping, and slight dullness on the metal parts, it is in good condition, typical of a vintage guitar. The bridge saddle has been replaced with an old-style one, and the back panel has been replaced. The arm bar is missing.

【neck】
The neck and fingerboard are made of one piece of maple. There's some paint fading on the headstock, weather-checking on the fingerboard, some chipped paint around the fingerboard due to age and use, and dents along with chipped paint on the back of the neck, giving the guitar a lovely vintage feel, just like the body. The tuners have been replaced with Schaller M6-style tuners, which function perfectly with no uneven winding. The nut was replaced in our shop. There's some wear, especially on the low frets, and there's occasional roughness when playing live, but there's no significant choking or choking when plugged in. The headstock is 15.6mm thick and the nut width is 40.9mm. The neck features a relatively sturdy, slightly triangular shape.

[Electrical system]
The controls are classic Stratocaster-style: 5-way pickup selector, master volume, neck (front) position tone knob, and center position tone knob. The pickups and other internal components are in pristine condition. The pickup selector switch shows signs of wear and may be loose. While maintaining a solid overall tone, this guitar is packed with the charm of a Stratocaster from this period, featuring a lustrous, warm neck (front) and center position controls, and a high-output, treble-driven, and flashy "X-1" bridge (rear) position.
