Artist Collection Eric Clapton Stratocaster Mercedes Blue

The Fender Custom Shop was established in 1987 to create the finest Fender guitars using carefully selected wood from Fender's inventory, utilizing traditional handcraftsmanship and advanced manufacturing techniques. The shop inherits the traditions and techniques of the long-established Fender company, and the lineup, assembled by a limited staff of custom shop staff, is truly top-notch, including one-of-a-kind models like the Master Builder Series.
Many of the tools used in the production are the same ones that were used back then. Crafted with the utmost care by staff members who are thoroughly versed in Fender guitar know-how, these instruments boast the finest quality and sound to satisfy any player, and are sure to become a reliable companion that you can enjoy for a lifetime.

This is a Custom Shop Eric Clapton Signature Model in the popular Mercedes Blue finish!
The popular Mercedes Blue Clapton model is now available! The carefully selected alder body is clad in a deep metallic blue that appears black at first glance, inspired by the color of Clapton's beloved Mercedes-Benz, making it one of the most popular Clapton models. It's a departure from the classic black look!

The wood materials are carefully selected for the Custom Shop line, featuring an alder body and a one-piece maple neck. The neck shape is a narrow V-shape, unique to Clapton models, making it easy to grip, and the satin finish provides a smooth, smooth feel, reducing stress when playing. It is even thinner than the USA line models.

The fingerboard has a shallow 9.5R radius, while the frets are thin, vintage-style. The shallow R allows for a low string height, and the 22 frets make it suitable for a wide range of musical styles.

The bridge is a vintage-style six-point synchronized tremolo. Since Eric himself doesn't use the arm, the bridge is secured with a piece of wood sandwiched between five springs when it arrives new. By removing the piece of wood and using the three springs, which is the standard specification for a Stratocaster, you can achieve the same arm movement as a regular Strat.

The pickups are three noise-suppressed Vintage Noiseless pickups. Like humbuckers, they offer a low-noise, responsive sound. Compared to vintage pickups, they offer a higher clean volume, so even lightly driven sounds can distort sufficiently. Despite their high output, they deliver a clear, sharp single-ended sound!

The TBX tone control circuit allows you to adjust the treble and bass tones, from a sweet, mild tone suitable for jazz fusion to a bright, cutting sound, all with a single control.

The lowest Tone Roll setting features the active mid-boost circuit synonymous with the Clapton model. It's flat at 0 and can be boosted up to 25dB by turning up the knob. You can also adjust the control at your fingertips to create a powerful, long-sustained sound.

It can create a wide range of sounds, from classic Stratocaster sounds to modern boost sounds, making it the most versatile guitar in an artist's collection.

The Eric Clapton Stratocaster is a popular model for anyone, even those who aren't Clapton fans, as it's versatile and versatile. Compared to the regular production USA model, you'll experience a noticeable difference in quality and sound when you listen to it live!

Eric Clapton's 2025 Japan tour was also amazing!
At 80 years old, Kami certainly seemed to be getting older, but rather than fighting against aging, he faced his 80-year-old self as if he was his true self, enjoying the music and communicating with the audience, and gave us a wonderful live performance!
He played in a relaxed manner, but when he switched on, his mature technique made me realize once again that he is indeed a legendary guitarist who is called a god!

This time, we have a recommended player's condition used item in stock. It was made in 2009.
There are small scratches, dents, buckle scratches, scratches from playing on the body and pickguard, paint thinning, small scratches on the back of the neck, and dullness on the metal parts, but it still has character! Although there are many scratches, dents, and signs of use, we have maintained and cleaned it in our shop, so it is ready to play right away. There is also some peeling below the letter F on the headstock logo, but this does not affect playability or cause any problems.
The pickup cover and knobs are off-white. Normally, white ones are used, but there are no signs of replacement on this particular guitar, so although we're not sure exactly, we suspect that the off-white ones were originally attached.
The "Noiseless" lettering on the front pickup has been slightly worn away by picking.

The frets have been filed. The guitar is currently in usable condition. Approximately 40% of the frets remain. There are no issues with current use. The truss rod can be adjusted normally. The frets are low, so future adjustments will require fret and nut replacement. The neck area of this guitar is not covered by the warranty.

We have also checked the electrical system and there are no problems with operation.

The weight is approximately 3.55 kg. It's well balanced for ease of use and produces a solid sound!
The heavy Mercedes Blue color makes this a watch that stands out!

The only accessory included is a Fender gig bag. The original tweed case, arm, and certificate are not included.
