Description
Description
We have a used Custom Shop Stratocaster in stock, featuring the 1965 style, the final era of small-headstock guitars, and the transition logo!
The Fender Custom Shop is a premium section made with carefully selected, top-quality materials and crafted with the high level of skill and dedication of our experienced staff. It inherits the traditions and techniques of the long-established Fender company, and boasts a lineup of the highest quality.
This is a 1965 Stratocaster that combines a carefully selected two-piece alder body with a straight-grained maple neck and a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard.
The pickups are Hand Wound 65 Stratocaster, and the combination of a round rosewood fingerboard, a slightly thin neck shape, a 7.25R fingerboard and narrow-tall frets gives it an excellent balance of vintage feel and playability, making it easy to play both in tone and style.
As for this particular guitar, the fingerboard has a 7.25 inch radius, so there is currently a slight buzzing noise when bending the first string, and there are visible nail marks on the fingerboard, so it shows signs of use. However, about 80% of the frets remain, the truss rod has room to tighten and loosen, and there are no issues with the electrical system, so it is a guitar that you can use for a long time to come.
