We have a used SONOR Gavin Harrison signature snare in stock.

As this is a second-hand item, there are signs of wear such as scratches and dirt, and the included brass snare is broken.

Ring mute not included.


"PROTEAN" is named after a Greek myth that represents versatility and diversity. Based on Gavin Harrison's 30 years of performance experience, it was designed with the aim of providing every option to get a great sound and being able to quickly adapt to a variety of musical styles.
Crafted from the same birch wood as Sonor's classic instruments, it delivers a powerful attack and crisp, sensitive sustain. Other features include a hybrid bearing edge with different edges on the top and bottom, and an S-Hoop with an inward-curved top. The bold satin black finish evokes classic Art Deco aesthetics and is designed to complement any drum set. His dream of creating the ultimate vintage snare drum, incorporating modern innovation, has finally come true.


The top features a "vintage round edge" (a design used until 1975), and the bottom features a 45-degree angled edge, the same as the current SONOR. This design combines the softness of a vintage sound with modern response and definition.


The newly developed hoop features an S-shaped cross section with the top folded inward, suppressing overtones that spread outward on rim shots and accentuating the individual "grains" of the impact sound.


The included snare comes standard with a Dual Glide Strainer adapter, allowing you to quickly change snare without removing the hoop.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
