The original 1073 module, released in 1970, is perhaps the world's most famous and is the perfect microphone preamp and EQ for recording all types of vocals and instruments.
The 1073 LBEQ Mono EQ module was built by Neve engineers in the UK and uses the same EQ circuit architecture and components to deliver the unique sound of the original 1073 classic EQ.
The 1073 delivers the unique Neve sound that's been the first choice of countless top producers and artists and featured on many of the most famous recordings of the past 40 years. The 1073 Classic's big, punchy sound complements every genre of music, from rock to pop, hip hop to rap, thrash to classical. And now the EQ section of that classic unit is available in the 500 Series racks.
Built in the UK by Neve engineers, the 1073 LBEQ mono EQ module retains the unique sonic characteristics of the original 1073 classic EQ by using the same EQ circuit architecture and matching components, while offering it in the modern, portable form factor that professional producers and engineers demand.
With new features such as signal presence LEDs and Neve's clever Audio Processing Insert design, the 1073 LBEQ takes your 500 Series rack to the next level.
Simply install it in an available slot in a compatible 500 Series rack and connect a line-level signal to inject the legendary Neve EQ sound into your audio productions. It also pairs perfectly with the 1073 LB Mic Preamp Module. The 1073 LB EQ Module can be inserted between the input and output stages of the 1073 LB Module to create a true 1073 classic audio path.
The audio processing insert design allows audio to or from the 1073LBEQ module to be inserted into the audio path of an existing 1073LB module (the module must be installed in the same 500 Series rack).
