The 1073's big, punchy sound complements any genre of music, from rock to pop, hip hop to rap, thrash to classical, and now it's available in 500 Series racks.
Introduced in 1970, the 1073 has been the first choice of leading producers and artists, delivering the unique NeveR sound throughout the last 40 years of recording history.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, the 1073LB retains the unique sonic characteristics of the original 1073 classic microphone preamp by using the same architecture, matching components and original hand-wound transformers, but does so in a modern, portable form factor that professional producers and engineers demand.
The 1073LB takes 500 Series racks to the next level with new features such as fine TRIM control, switchable microphone input impedance, signal presence LED, intelligent protection switching on the front combination XLR input connector and Neve's clever audio processing input design.
Simply place it in an available slot in a compatible 500 Series rack, connect a microphone or line-level signal, and inject legendary sound into your audio productions.
