Using two A terminals further improves quality!
The USB-1.0SP-TripleC uses two A terminals on the output side, separating the signal line and power line from the plug point, further enhancing the separation structure.
Revolutionary structure with completely separate signal and power lines
A USB cable contains both signal lines that transmit digital signals and power lines that supply bus power. The presence of mixed signal and power lines causes them to be affected by the magnetic and electric fields they generate, significantly degrading quality. This cable structure is the biggest drawback of USB cables, which are designed solely for convenience; no matter how high-performance the conductors, insulation, and shielding, mutual interference between the signal and power lines cannot be avoided, preventing excellent transmission characteristics and sound quality.
The R-AU1-SP and R-AU1-PL utilize a groundbreaking design developed by ACOUSTIC REVIVE that completely separates the signal and power lines. The use of dedicated 2-core shielded cables for the signal and power lines ensures high-quality sound without transmission degradation due to mutual interference.
The insulation material is a fluororesin with an excellent dielectric constant. It is the insulation that has a greater impact on the transmission characteristics of a cable than the conductor. The dielectric constant is a numerical value that expresses the performance of an insulation material. This dielectric constant represents the force that tries to stop the flow of electricity, and the lower the value, the higher the performance of the insulation material.
However, the insulation material used in most commercially available USB cables is PVC (polyvinyl chloride), which has a dielectric constant of 5.6. Even expensive audio USB cables use PE (polyethylene), which has a dielectric constant of 2.3 to 2.4 at best. In contrast, fluororesin has a dielectric constant of 2.1, the lowest dielectric constant currently available among insulating resin materials. The R-AU1-SP, with its fluororesin insulation, achieves overwhelming data transmission speeds.
Natural silk cushioning prevents static electricity
The R-AU1-SP and R-AU1-PL use natural silk as a buffer material, which reduces the effects of vibration through its vibration-damping effect and also prevents the generation of static electricity, further refining the excellent transmission characteristics.Natural silk is difficult to charge itself and prevents the generation of static electricity, but it is not only effective; even if it does become charged, it will be charged with a positive (+) potential, so when combined with a resin insulating material that is charged in the negative (-) direction, it has the effect of canceling out static electricity.
Copper shielding provides excellent audio-band shielding.
The R-AU1-SP and R-AU1-PL use copper shielding for its excellent shielding properties in the audio frequency range, which is the most important for music production and playback. Aluminum and other light metal shielding are excellent at shielding high frequencies, but are inferior in the all-important audio frequency range, and they inevitably develop their own unique tonal characteristics. Copper shielding, on the other hand, does not develop any tonal characteristics, and provides thorough shielding in the important audio frequency range, preventing the intrusion of external noise.
