Description

★8ch Remote Mic Pre Amp with ADC 8x2 Mixer / USB Interface

Equipped with 8 channels of high-quality, clear mic preamps unique to GRACE design, and built-in 24-bit/192kHz AD converters (AES, ADAT, USB), it functions as a simple 8x2 USB interface with the highest sound quality and also functions as a digital mixer. It also supports various remote control methods, and optional Dante network audio functionality is available.

GRACE design's classic microphone preamplifiers are capable of capturing instruments and voices with maximum clarity, down to the subtlest air movements, while GRACE quality AD converters feature 100% analog-to-digital conversion without any coloration, providing the ultimate input section for any sound system.

■Product Details◎Unrivaled Performance
The m108 successfully incorporates the design concepts of the high-end m802 remote mic preamp into an elegant 1U enclosure. Its transformerless circuitry and current feedback gain design deliver the delicate, deep expression you expect from GRACE design. The standard GRACE-quality AD converter converts the signal to digital while maintaining 100% of its original integrity. The built-in digital mixer allows you to mix and monitor the eight mic preamp channels.

Furthermore, the "asynchronous mode USB interface function" allows connection to a computer environment with the best jitter performance. In other words, when connected via USB, the m108 can be used as a simple, high-quality USB audio interface with 8 x 2 channels (thanks to the m108's built-in ADC/DAC). Control room output is available via the headphone out (standard) or by adding a CR Output Card (optional) to the rear panel slot.

If you want to adjust the sound color using DAW plug-ins after tracking, the clear sound quality of the m108 that captures everything makes post-processing easy, making it a perfect fit for modern recording environments.

◎Simple Operation
The rotary encoder also functions as a push button, providing thorough, simple navigation and comfortable operation. 48V, phase, channel group, and meter peak reset can be accessed directly from the front panel buttons, enabling quick setup on the spot.

The highly visible OLED screen display is designed to efficiently show system information such as gain settings for each channel, meters, peak status, digital mixer, and setup menu, and you can also select the display mode that suits your usage style. The well-thought-out menu design, with thorough simplicity of operation, further enhances its value as a professional tool.

◎Powerful Operation
The m108 can be used not only as a standalone microphone preamp/ADC, but also as a remote control from the m802RCU (sold separately), MIDI control from host systems such as Pro Tools, and a dedicated control application for the m108 is available. It can also be controlled via a web browser over a LAN network (just enter the IP address in the address bar of a browser like Google Chrome and the dedicated remote screen will automatically appear!), making it the perfect solution for any system design.

Additionally, the optional DANTE network audio functionality can be added, allowing the m108 to be used as the core system for a wide range of audio equipment applications.

The m108 allows you to build a large-scale remote microphone preamp system with up to 12 units (96 channels) (it is also possible to build a system that mixes in the older model m802).
