MEDIUM OUTPUT PASSIVE HUMBUCKER

This model is a new style of humbucker that combines two different coils. The adjustable pole piece uses a '59 model coil, while the non-adjustable pole piece uses a Duncan Custom coil. Pairing these coils with an Alnico 5 magnet, these coils, each with different wire gauges, deliver clear highs, ample lows, and a booming midrange. When wired in series, the DC resistance is approximately 11 kΩ, placing it somewhere between a vintage humbucker and a high-output humbucker, something not previously seen in Seymour Duncan's humbucking lineup. For players who find the JB Model, Duncan Custom, Custom Custom, or Custom 5 too high-output, and find the '59 Model or Screamin' Demon too intense, this '59/Custom Hybrid is the perfect choice. Recommended for a wide range of genres, including '80s hard rock and classic metal.
