Highline (passive line isolator)
Highline is a passive line isolator for connecting a guitar simulator (amp modeler) to a mixer for live or recording use.
High-quality Jensen transformers are used to deliver exceptional audio performance.
Its compact design fits easily on a pedalboard, yet doesn't compromise signal strength or tone when connected to a mixer. Radial boasts legendary reliability and build quality, with precision-wound Jensen transformers maintaining volume from pedalboard to PA while eliminating ground loop noise. Balanced outputs are ideal for long cable runs and can be disconnected to prevent phantom power from reaching the pedalboard. A thumb switch also provides stereo inputs to mono.
This solves a problem faced by guitarists and bassists who use amp modelers. Although amp simulators have line-level outputs, they mostly use 1/4-inch unbalanced connectors, which can cause tone degradation over long cable runs and ground loop noise when directly connected to a PA.
Highline inserts a 1:1 transformer into the signal path, reducing noise and protecting against phantom power while maintaining line level for direct connection to a PA.
