Furthermore, vacuum tube modeling can add the warmth characteristic of vacuum tubes.

The microphone preamp section uses the same circuitry as the TASCAM DM-4800/3200 professional digital mixing console. Phantom power is available, allowing use with condenser microphones. It also features a high-pass filter, compressor, gate, de-esser, and equalizer for convenient vocal processing. Simply select each parameter and turn the dial to create a professional-level sound. The TA-1VP mixes the raw input sound (dry sound) with the processed sound (wet sound) from the TA-1VP, allowing you to achieve the double tracking effect with just one song. This is extremely useful not only for recording but also for live performances.
