Description
Yoshihiro Naruse's latest signature model, the SG short Narucho, is now in stock!
This new bass, the Phoenix SG short Narucho, was designed and planned by Narucho himself, and is finished with a slightly longer scale of 790 mm (31 inches) than the standard short scale.
The tension from this scale creates a wonderful string amplitude, outputting a perfect balance of sounds from bouncy bass to crisp pulls.
The guitar features a multi-layer laminate body with a beautifully grained spalted burl maple top, a neck-through construction, and three EMG J pickups. And the highlight of this Narcho model is that it has two built-in preamps.
When the mini switch is set to the down position, the two outer JJ pickups inside the wood pickup cover will sound, and the original GZP-2 preamp will be activated. At this time, the pickup balancer and treble/bass/mid EQ controls on the top of the body will be operable. When the mini switch is set to the up position, the single middle EMG J pickup inside the wood pickup cover will sound, and the original CLE-1 preamp will be activated. In this mode, the controls on the top of the body will be inactive except for the master volume, and the treble/mid/bass EQ can be controlled using the trimmers on the back panel of the body.
The two preamps produce a wide variety of sounds, from powerful and strong tones to delicate and nuanced tones, and their clear, stable sound makes them an all-around bass that can be used in a variety of ensembles.
It is also recommended for female bassists as it is easy to handle and fits in a guitar bag, and the fingering is simple.
Narcho has a wealth of experience and has mastered playing all kinds of basses, and this is the culmination of his experience and the desire to commercialize it. Don't miss this opportunity!
Comment from Narcho: "I wanted something that wasn't too big, but suited to Japanese people, with a short neck that was easy to play, and easy to carry to gigs. TUNE answered my requests. This bass is just as good as the 34-inch long-scale basses of the past, and the tonal balance is comparable. It's that kind of bass! I think it's going to turn your concept of bass upside down! Is it too loud? Is the short scale too loud? Wow, it's really surprising! That's just my personal opinion. Everyone, check it out and see for yourself."
