Description
The ST series, developed with Focal's expertise to meet the most demanding professional requirements, inherits the sound and design of the SM6 series, Focal Professional's most highly acclaimed, while continuing to evolve.
The speaker is equipped with a tweeter baffle with optimized acoustic and diffusion characteristics, and the internal and external ports have a flared structure, significantly improving the strength of the speaker itself.
● 2-way monitor
The ST SOLO 6 is a two-way monitor that offers unparalleled transparency, precise control, dynamics and soundstage accuracy.
With Full-Range Focus mode, SOLO 6 can be configured as two monitors in one, ensuring the sweet spot when mixing, saving space on the console and simplifying cable runs and monitor swapping.
The Solo 6's technology and performance include an inverted dome beryllium tweeter with an M-shaped protective grille and a W-shaped cone woofer with a frequency range up to 10 kHz specially designed for Focal mode, Focal's patented TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) technology that reduces distortion by 50% from 1 kHz to 3 kHz, a high-pass crossover, a disengageable auto-standby mode, and a 160 Hz crossover that compensates for reflected sound from the console, further enhancing the Solo 6's industry-leading performance.
Additionally, to enjoy an immersive listening experience with Dolby Atmos and Sony 360RA installations, Solo6 comes with inserts for wall or ceiling mounting.
●Composite W Sandwich Cone
The W composite cone is manufactured in France by Focal and allows for a perfectly optimized frequency response curve. The unique properties of this cone, its lightness and rigidity, control the signal transmission speed within the material. By adjusting the thickness of the structural foam, the damping quality of the cone can be controlled very precisely. When listening, this produces perfect sound transparency, extremely low distortion and excellent phase characteristics.
Beryllium Reverse Dome Tweeter: The trademark "reverse dome tweeter" that guarantees Focal quality is made of beryllium, a material harder than titanium and lighter than aluminum. It achieves a linear frequency response up to 40 kHz. Furthermore, updates such as improved transients and interference suppression deliver a more neutral sound. The tweeter baffle has also been updated to avoid sound reflection from above and to expand the sweet spot.
Focus Mode: Focus Mode transforms your loudspeaker into a 1-way full-range monitor, giving you access to different speaker driver configurations with the flip of a pedal. Monitor two different sound types—2-way and 1-way—with a single speaker. Focus Mode reproduces a frequency range of 110Hz-10kHz.

The Solo6 and Twin6 feature a variable high-pass crossover and a 160Hz parametric crossover to reduce reflections from the console or desk. These monitors also feature a high-pass crossover and a disengageable auto-standby mode, accessed with a switch, providing simple and essential options for controlling your loudspeakers.
