Scarlett 4th Gen
The world's best-selling audio interface takes a giant step forward. Scarlett 4th Gen delivers superior audio specs, creative music production features, and a simple, elegant, and functional interface—all without compromising on ease of use. The previous generation of Scarlett has been embraced by some of the most renowned musicians in music history, with over 6 million users. Now, Scarlett lets you harness this powerful technology and immerse yourself in music creation.
We designed the fourth generation of Scarlett for artists of all creative productions. From everyday music enjoyment and home studios where you're starting to compose your music for the first time, to producers seeking innovative creativity, podcasting, streaming, and more, Scarlett delivers high audio quality and an environment where you can smoothly transfer your ideas to your PC.
◎ Pursuing Sound Quality The fourth-generation Scarlett mic preamp boasts a 69dB* gain range, delivering the clearest, most detailed sound ever in a Scarlett. Set up a microphone and record vocals and guitars with exceptional audio quality. Connect an electric guitar to the instrument input and record as if you were plugging it into a guitar amp. Connect a synth or groovebox directly to the line input. The 4i4's extensive line inputs and outputs let you connect your favorite outboard gear. Record with Scarlett and enjoy professional-quality Focusrite sound.
*Scarlett2i2/4i4 only: Solo gain level is 57dB.
Capture every nuance: Equipped with the same 24-bit/192kHz converters as Focusrite's flagship interface RedNet, used in high-end studios around the world, you can capture every nuance of your performance and sound quality into your music.
◎Signature sound
The Air mode, one of Scarlett's signature features, has been redesigned to offer two modes: analog presence boost and harmonic drive. Just like the classic consoles found in famous studios, it can add brilliant presence and rich harmonics.
This feature will become an essential part of your recordings, bringing lead vocals and instrument tracks forward in the mix.
Let Scarlett handle your level adjustments. Dynamic Gain Halo's highly visible LEDs make it quick and easy to set levels for any microphone. The newly added Auto Gain feature lets you let Scarlett handle the level adjustments. Simply press the button, play for 10 seconds, and your input level will be perfectly adjusted.
No need to worry about clipping. The Clip Safe feature* checks your performance with precision unmatched by any engineer. It checks the input signal up to 96,000 times per second, sensitively detecting volume changes while recording and automatically adjusting the gain if there's a risk of clipping. This eliminates the worry of ruining a take, allowing you to focus solely on your performance.
*Auto gain and clip safe functions are only available on Scarlett 2i2/4i4.
◎ Comprehensive monitoring features: The uniquely designed headphone amplifier and wide dynamic range provide the best monitoring environment in Scarlett history. Equipped with a line output boasting a dynamic range of 120dB, the headphone output is compatible with high-impedance headphones, allowing for louder, clearer monitoring than ever before. All models offer independent control of headphone and speaker output, allowing for flexible adjustments for recording, mixing, and playback. The 4i4 uses four line outputs, allowing for output to multiple speakers or external devices, supporting a variety of monitoring environments.
Loopback: The Loopback function allows you to sample stereo signals from your PC output or PC applications into your DAW. Route these signals through Scarlet t's virtual channels, allowing you to incorporate your computer's audio output into your live stream.
◎Easy setup
Simply connect the Scarlet t to your PC via USB, power it up and start it up with the Focusrite Easy Start tool, select your intended use, and follow the guided process to set up all the software you need, plus access recording tips and other helpful content.
◎ Comprehensive support

◎ Warranty

◎Focusrite Control 2
Focusrite Control 2 is a software application for controlling the Scarlett Gen4. Scarlett boasts exceptional audio performance and professional build quality, while Focusrite Control 2's simple, intuitive user interface makes it an extremely versatile computer recording system when used with your digital audio workstation (DAW). This software is essential for fully utilizing Scarlett's features, including sample rate adjustment, loopback on/off, and, on the Scarlet t4i4, direct monitor routing of input signals. The software also provides access to Scarlett's front panel functions, allowing you to adjust input gain and turn Air, Autogain, ClipSafe, and 48v buttons on/off, even away from the interface. Every time you link with Scarlett, Focusrite Control 2 checks for updates, keeping your Scarlett always up to date.
◎ScarlettGen4 comes bundled with a variety of music production software.
For recording software Pro Tools Intro and Ableton Live Lite (both included), the Hitmaker Expansion bundle gives you all the tools you need to bring professional-quality studio sound to your tracks, with a wide range of plug-ins from leading manufacturers.
[Oyaide d+USB Type-C to C classB/1.0]
★Audio-grade, Type-C to C (USB 2.0) cable
No need for a USB adapter for either the PC or the interface.
The MacBook Pro, the standard in DJ, DTM, and streaming environments, is equipped with a USB Type-C connector. Many users have been forced to use a Type-C converter when using a d+ USB cable. Additionally, with the emergence of many audio interfaces using Type-C, there has been a demand for a simpler, direct USB Type-C connection without a converter. The introduction of the d+ USB Type-C to C Class B cable makes this possible. The stress of needing a USB adapter is no longer necessary. The d+ USB Type-C to C Class B cable provides a smart, high-quality Type-C connection for your system.
●The quality of the d+ sound remains the same
The Type-C connector is very compact. However, if the cable used is downsized unnecessarily, it will not satisfy many users. The d+ series Type-C is the largest size within USB regulations. Despite its slim design, it promises a wide range of sound. The flat cable and connector, which inherit the design that is instantly recognizable as d+, are a symbol of d+ quality that remains even with the change in connector.
●World-class quality control: The compact and convenient Type-C connector. Because it's small and portable, durability is essential. d+ USB Type-C to C Class B is produced under strict quality control, and only those that pass rigorous testing are shipped. In addition to tests under real-world conditions such as insertion/removal, bending, and load durability, the cable undergoes a characteristic impedance test called TDR (time domain reflectometry), and environmental tests such as placing the cable in high and low temperature environments with an elevation difference of 80°C or more for more than 48 hours to test the cable's condition and electrical characteristics. In addition, the cable undergoes tests under humidity levels of 80% or more and UV exposure. Only those that pass all these tests are shipped.
● Sound quality comparable to that of battery powered devices
When comparing the sound output when a PC is powered by an AC adapter to the sound output when it's running on the PC's battery, the sound output when the PC is powered directly from the battery without AC/DC switching is superior. Many modern PCs, including the MacBook Pro, use USB Type-C cables as power cables, and a d+USB Type-C to C class B cable also makes a difference when used as a power supply cable for these devices. There's no denying that power cables improve sound output, and the effectiveness of using a d+USB Type-C to C class B cable as a power cable for a PC is no exception.
