■The legend of recording in the 19-inch format
The 32Classic MS is a high-performance, all-analog channel strip that brings the signature Harrison sound and processing tools of our flagship 32Classic recording console to your studio.
With additional hybrid workflow capabilities and an integrated stereo mix bus for combining multiple units, the 32Classic MS delivers legendary sound while also adding unique, innovative features that enhance your workflow.
Boasting the same design as the 32Classic console, the 32Classic MS features a premium Jensen JT-MB-CPCA transformer-coupled microphone preamplifier, a signature Harrison LP/HP filter with a 3 dB resonant peak, and an ultra-smooth four-band parametric EQ.
The original 3232 console was used by artists such as Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin to create some of the most acclaimed and timeless music ever made.
Now, for the first time, that unmistakable sound is available in a 19-inch rack format.
Add legendary recordings to your studio with the 32Classic MS.
■Comprehensive input section
The 32Classic MS includes a versatile input section with dedicated mic and line XLR inputs on the rear panel.
For added convenience, there's also a front-panel input with selectable instrument/Hi-Z and mic options.
The microphone input is equipped with essential utilities such as 48V phantom power, -20 dB pad, phase reverse, and a tri-color LED meter.
Both the mic and line inputs have independent gain controls, ensuring precise adjustment and excellent performance on both inputs.
Whether you're recording, producing, or mixing, the 32Classic MS gives you the connections you need to get the most out of your sessions.
■Harrison Mic Preamps - Legendary Sound Classic Harrison recordings are characterized by high-performance transformer-coupled microphone preamps.
True to its heritage, the 32Classic MS mic preamp delivers 70 dB of clean gain and the warm, rich tone Harrison is renowned for.
With the Jensen JT-MB-CPCA transformer, you can expect rich bass, open midrange, and very smooth and natural high frequencies.
The transformer's gentle roll-off and subtle phase shift at both ends of the frequency spectrum produce a surprisingly sweet and musical sound, ideal for virtually any source material.
■Distinctive LP/HP Filters As featured on the original 3232 and the latest 32Classic consoles, the 32Classic MS's low-pass and high-pass filters offer musical 12 dB/octave slopes.
The high-pass filter, ranging from 25 Hz to 3.1 kHz, contains a characteristic 3 dB resonant peak.
Meanwhile, the low-pass filter ranges from 160 Hz to 20 kHz, making it ideal for removing rumble and smoothing out high frequencies.
■32 Classic EQs
The 32Classic MS brings the iconic 4-band parametric EQ of the 32Classic console to a 19-inch rack format for the first time.
Originally created in the 1970s, at a time when the equipment had to be set up "right" the first time, its frequency range and proportional Q design were painstakingly developed to provide both a broad, musical curve and precise shape to get the best out of any source material or recording scenario.
Its power is trusted by legendary engineers like Bruce Swedien and Roger Nichols, and its flexibility has earned it a place in renowned studios like The Village and Westlake Studios in Los Angeles, and LSI Studios in Nashville. Add one of the most sought-after EQs to your toolkit.
Integrated mix bus and hybrid workflow capabilities
Build your Harrison recording and mixing system one channel at a time with the 32Classic MS integrated mix bus.
Designed to enhance workflow and increase recording and mixing capabilities, the mix bus allows outputs from multiple units to be cascaded via rear panel "summing" connectors and jumper cables.
Use the fader controls to balance and pan the signal across the stereo output.
Or, turn on 0 dB fader bypass and record at unity gain.
Perfect for hybrid workflows, mobile rigs, or tracking rooms, the 32Classic MS's integrated mix bus delivers iconic Harrison tone with exceptional flexibility.
■32 Classic MS Sidecar Enhance your mixing and tracking workflow by combining multiple 32 Classic MS channels to use as a “sidecar” to your existing setup.
Perfect for drum and instrument buses, it adds the iconic Harrison sound to your sound palette, bringing warmth, depth and versatility to any recording or mixing application.
