Description

BAD MONITORING STEALS YOUR GRAMMY

Most studios do not have a truly flat frequency response, and standing modal dips and peaks cannot be smoothed out even with software. The X1 solves this problem with room independence and flat tuning, providing the easiest way to create a monitoring environment comparable to the world's flattest sounding studios.

●FLAT SOUND FROM LAPTOPS TO ANALOG CONSOLES
With the X1, there's no need to adjust the acoustics of your room.
The X1's individual calibration allows it to adapt to a variety of devices, regardless of plug-in.

Individual calibration can be performed directly as EQ values on hardware such as the included USC II plug-in, RME Total Mix, UA Console, MOTU Control, Neumann Monitor Mission, DSP-enabled audio interfaces, and even analog EQ strips.

Individually calibrated using AI processing: Every X1 unit is individually tested and calibrated to correct for deviations in frequency response due to material and acoustic tolerances. The analytical power of AI allows for even more precise fine-tuning of the X1.

The default calibration of Stereo, Spiral, and Harman Target "X1" is optimized for translating stereo mixes, but the binaural mode can be switched with one click to enable spiral audio mixing and cross-check your mix using the popular Harman Target curve (only available with the USC II plug-in).

●USC II specifications
USC (Unit Specific Calibration) is the "final mile" to achieving a completely flat frequency response. Every unit in OLLO headphones is measured and highly quality-controlled. Measuring each individual unit allows us to capture any deviations in sound quality due to the manufacturing tolerances of each individual unit. By calibrating based on this data, we are able to achieve incredibly low tolerances of approximately -1dB for the selected frequency target. This means we can correct frequency responses that would be impossible to achieve through acoustic design alone.

The included Unit Specific Calibration II (USC II) contains a software plug-in from Realphones and a calibration data file generated using the power of AI. The plug-in is available in AU, VST, and AAX formats for Mac and Windows users, and a standalone version is also available. The calibration data file is in XPS format, allowing precise EQ values to be manually exported to third-party EQ plug-ins or DSP-enabled hardware (e.g., RME TotalMix, Neumann Mission Control, UA Console, etc.).

・OLLO USC II plug-in (AU, VST, AAX)
OLLO USC II standalone app (Mac and Win)
- USC II calibration data file compatible with Realphones and Waves Nx - Open format data file for easy output to third-party EQ and DSP-compatible hardware. *Manufactured by Realphones. *As this is professional recording equipment, there is no warranty on the product box. Also, the product box is a shipping box, not a presentation box. Therefore, please note that the box may be damaged during shipping.
