Vacuum tube, transformer-balanced pressure gradient microphone
The Eden LT-386 is a vacuum tube large diaphragm condenser microphone with Multi-Voicing technology.
It features smooth and dense low and low-mid ranges, as well as a unique mid-high range reminiscent of classic vacuum tube microphones.It also has a Multi-Voicing function that allows you to switch between three types of characters using a switch on the main unit, as well as a unique high-pass filter and directional switch.
The Eden LT-386 uses a specially tuned 31.25mm dual-diaphragm capsule, a custom-wound American-made transformer with outstanding transient control, a modern EF806 vacuum tube with a proprietary aging process, carefully selected high-quality resistor parts, Switchcraft(R) connectors, proprietary cables, and a power supply unit.
The body is treated with the highest quality ceramic coating, and the head and suspension mounts are nickel plated, all manufactured at our San Jose, California, factory, which boasts outstanding craftsmanship.
The high-pass filter features two stages: a "kick shape" and a "vocal shape," each tuned to a unique curve to properly handle these two types of difficult-to-handle low frequencies.
The default position is bypass, and in the middle position the "Kick Shape" filter cuts low end, eliminating excessive low end from kicks. It's also effective on toms, vocals, and guitars. In the bottom position, the "Vocal Shape" high-pass filter cleans up vocals, providing a smooth, classic sound. It can also be used on many other sources.
