Solid-state low noise FET
The Atlantis FC-387 is a model that has been optimized for vocal recording in all aspects, including directivity, gain, and character. The three voicing modes provide rich low-midrange and smooth high frequencies, making it suitable for a variety of vocal recording situations.
The unique three-type voicing switch allows you to select from three positions: F (Forward) for an open, modern, and clear sound; N (Neutral) for a classic sound with even response and less emphasis on the mid- and high-ends; and G (Gentle) for a vintage sound with less harshness and unnecessary brightness. This multi-voicing function eliminates the need to change microphones or adjust the EQ.
Lauten's unique three-position attenuation gain switch also features: +10dB increases the output gain by 10dB, allowing you to record great sound without relying too much on the preamp, while -10dB attenuates the signal with a pad, allowing you to record louder sources.
