Solid-state low noise FET
The Lauten Audio FC-357 Clarion is a 24-bit FET microphone designed specifically for FET microphone lovers.
This model is ideal for those looking for a large diaphragm FET condenser with a classic sound that doesn't feel outdated and can be used in a variety of situations.
The FC-357 Clarion is equipped with a three-position gain switch that allows you to adjust the gain without distortion.
Setting it to +10dB will boost the microphone output by 10dB, allowing you to enjoy great sounding recordings without relying on a preamp.
Conversely, setting it to -10dB pad will amplify the preamp, which is useful when recording louder sources.
The FC-357 Clarion also features a switch to switch between three directivity patterns: omnidirectional, cardioid, and bidirectional, to accommodate any microphone pickup technique.
The case comes with a shock mount to reduce the negative effects of vibrations.
It also features a custom-designed 28.25mm large dual-diaphragm capsule, allowing it to accurately capture even the nuances of the sound source.
Other features include low-noise FETs and a custom-designed output transformer.
