When IK's iLoud Bluetooth speaker was released, it was no exaggeration to say it changed the industry standard for portable speakers. The iLoud Micro Monitor continues this tradition, delivering crystal-clear sound and high-power output that's hard to imagine from its incredibly compact enclosure. The iLoud Micro Monitor features a 3-inch woofer and a 3/4-inch silk dome tweeter, crafted from a custom-made, sturdy composite material, driven by four ultra-efficient Class D amplifiers. With a total of 50W RMS, the speaker delivers exceptional power and a carefully designed front-facing bass reflex port, delivering crystal-clear highs, crisp, clear mids, and surprisingly rich bass down to 55Hz (-3dB), all with a linear frequency response.

When you play music through iLoud Micro Monitor, you'll be immediately struck by the clarity of the sound. The secret lies in the built-in 56-bit DSP's control of phase and frequency response. Based on the expertise IK Multimedia has cultivated over many years of filter development, this DSP technology enables meticulously designed crossover settings and time alignment, which controls the timing at which the sound emitted from the woofer and tweeter reaches the listener's ears. This achieves accurate phase, positioning, and linear frequency response, something previously thought impossible in small spaces.

Most home studios are smaller than the ideal workspace, often with all equipment set up on a desk along the wall next to a bed. Most monitor speakers were not designed for this type of environment, resulting in a boomy, muddy, and unclear sound. With just 9 cm wide and 13.5 cm deep, the iLoud Micro Monitor doesn't sacrifice workspace, even when placed in such an environment. It also features three EQ switches that control the built-in DSP, allowing you to optimize the sound for your setup. The monitor features a DESKTOP mode that compensates for scattered sound reflections caused by various objects on the desk when placed on a desktop, as well as three EQ switches for adjusting low and high frequencies.

The stand on the bottom of the iLoud Micro Monitor allows you to adjust the angle in two stages. When installing the speakers below ear level, you can raise the stand to align the "sweet spot" where the woofer and tweeter crossover sound is at ear height.
