Description
Description
The T5V is a very affordable 2-way monitor that is ideal for home studios and small control rooms.
The T5V is equipped with a 5-inch woofer, delivering low-frequency reproduction down to 45 Hz. The newly developed U-ART tweeter is capable of reproducing high frequencies up to 25 kHz, making it suitable for recording and mixing tasks that require high resolution. The U-ART tweeter uses the same wave guide as the HPS (High-frequency Propagation System) used in ADAM Audio's flagship S-Series monitors, achieving uniform radiation characteristics in the high frequencies and providing an extremely wide sweet spot. This allows you to work freely without being restricted by limited listening positions.
The front-chamfered cabinet features a rear-firing bass reflex port, and its compact size allows for seamless installation in tight spaces. Crossover and equalization are controlled by the onboard DSP, and the inputs offer RCA and XLR analog connections. Equipped with a 50W Class D amplifier for the woofer and a 20W Class D amplifier for the U-ART tweeter, the T5V can deliver up to 106dB SPL per pair. Its excellent acoustic characteristics, compact size, and exceptional value make it ideal for small control rooms in music, video, and broadcast productions. For deeper frequency response, we recommend pairing it with the ADAM Sub7 and Sub8 subwoofers.
●High-performance and cost-effective monitor
ADAM Audio's new T Series is a line of professional 2-way powered studio monitors that offer high performance and excellent value. Comprised of two models, the T5V with a 5-inch woofer and the T7V with a 7-inch woofer, both models feature the same U-ART (Unique Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter) high-frequency driver. They feature a chamfered cabinet design, rear-firing bass reflex port, onboard DSP for crossover and equalization control, and multi-way analog connectivity with RCA and XLR. The T5V and T7V can be paired with ADAM Sub7 and Sub8 subwoofers.
Offering a wide frequency response, high dynamic range, excellent transient response, and a wide sweet spot, the T Series delivers superior performance that exceeds its compact size. It is suitable for use in small control rooms in music production, video post-production, broadcast production, and more. With an extremely cost-effective price tag, T Series monitors are also an ideal choice for projects with limited budgets.
Newly developed U-ART tweeter with HPS wave guide
Many of the technological innovations found in ADAM Audio's flagship S Series are also utilized in the T Series. The T Series' new 1.9-inch U-ART tweeter is based on the design of ADAM Audio's iconic X-ART and S-ART tweeter technologies found in the AX Series and S Series, respectively. The U-ART tweeter uses the same waveguide as the HPS (High-frequency Propagation System) used in ADAM Audio's flagship S Series monitors, ensuring uniform radiation characteristics at high frequencies.
New Class D amplifier and DSP-controlled room EQ
Both T Series monitors feature new Class D amplifiers (20W for the tweeter and 50W for the woofer), a universal power supply, and a crossover design derived from the onboard DSP technology developed for the S Series. The rear panels of the T5V and T7V feature XLR and RCA connectors, supporting +4dBu balanced and -10dBV unbalanced inputs, respectively. Input selection is controlled by a selector switch, also located on the rear panel. The universal power supply allows the T5V and T7V to automatically adapt to AC voltages from 100 to 240 V, 50 to 60 Hz. These features allow T Series monitors to easily connect to recording systems worldwide and to DAW interfaces, regardless of whether they use balanced or unbalanced connections.
The room equalizer features two three-position switches that allow for flat or ±2 dB boost/cut of the low and high frequencies, respectively. This allows the frequency response to be tailored to suit various installation locations, such as shelves, tabletops, and console bridges, and also allows for fine-tuning of performance against interference from nearby walls.
