The MTP 440 DM is designed for snare drums, wind instruments and amplifiers, and features a high-performance capsule that sounds great both live and in the studio.

The MTP 440 DM features a high-performance capsule that delivers a vibrant sound, making it ideal for snare drum miking. Its focused, cardioid pattern keeps the snare sound in focus, whether live or in the studio.

●Make your amp sound fantastic. Turn your amp up to 11? The MTP 440 DM also reproduces high SPL sources like amps with high clarity and complete detail.

A slight bass roll-off and increased mid-range definition give it a punchy, unique sound, delivering a rich sound in any size cab.

● Record wind instruments with fantastic sound. Record wind instruments with crystal clear sound. Wind instruments generate high sound pressure levels that some instruments cannot handle, but the MTP 440 DM has proven its clarity on countless stages.

Long life and durability. The enclosure features durable die-cast zinc components to withstand drops and accidental hits. A rubber suspension protects the capsule and minimizes structure-borne noise.

Cardioid polar pattern. The instrument-focused cardioid polar pattern picks up sound primarily from the front of the microphone and attenuates sound from directly behind the MTP 440 DM. Unwanted reflections and background noise are effectively suppressed.
