●Faithfully reproduces the sound quality of the "C414B ULS," the most highly acclaimed of all C414 models. With extremely flat characteristics, it captures even the subtlest nuances of the original sound.
It is capable of recording densely packed sounds from high to low frequencies, delivering a realistic sound that makes you feel as if you are listening to a performance right in front of you. It is useful for a wide range of applications, including vocals, ambient drums, percussion, and more.
●Precisely matched stereo pairs are also available.

Features common to both the C414 XLS-Y4 and C414 XLII-Y4: The dual-diaphragm design, with two diaphragms positioned closely together in parallel, minimizes the proximity effect, ensuring clear sound pickup across the entire frequency range.
◎By using a transformerless circuit, high-quality mounted components, and an all-metal chassis, the effects of external noise, temperature, humidity, etc. are reduced. An extremely low equivalent noise level of 6dB is achieved, allowing even the faintest audio signals to be picked up without any loss.
◎Maximum sound pressure level reaches 140dB, supporting high-pressure sound sources. Also equipped with a 4-level switchable pad.
◎Directivity can be selected from 9 levels, allowing you to set it optimally according to your usage environment.
The diaphragm is supported at four points using rubber elastic suspension, providing excellent protection against vibration noise. When used in conjunction with the included shock mount, it delivers clearer sound quality.
Equipped with a 4-stage low-cut filter and an LED that lights up just before the output overloads, it is also useful in live performances.
◎ Equipped with a lock function that disables all button operations. It can be easily turned on/off by pressing and holding the directional switch button.
◎Windscreen and pop screen are included as standard to reduce the effects of pop noise*.
