Description
Description
It is true that in today's rock drums, it is important to play the role of an engine that drives the entire music; in other words, to continue to send a reliable two-beat and four-beat pulse to the other players.
The 8mm thick American maple is given a precise bearing edge to bring out its potential power and excellent projection, and is finished with an acrylic LQ (lacquer) to create a hard outline. The tubular lug 10 tension specification refines the shell vibration rhythm, accentuating its tightness and sharpness.
The tension bolts have been fitted with steel washers only, rather than the original Canopus bolt tight, to emphasise the ear-splitting high frequencies required for metal and rock sounds.
Canopus Red Lock is used to prevent the tension bolts from loosening.
Furthermore, the Type-R head uses the highly directional Japanese ASPR head rather than the American-made REMO head, which emits a wide frequency range from top to bottom, which has succeeded in emphasizing the mid- to high-range frequencies.
This snare drum is specialized for rock sounds, offering power approaching that of a heavy, machined metal thick-bodied snare drum, yet surpassing it in ease and comfort.
This is a die-cast hoop model, which is tighter, has a thicker core, and has excellent sound projection.
